A 54-year-old man on Tuesday died of Coronavirus in Kashmir valley, taking the total number of death toll due to the infection to three.

 Meanwhile, the number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 125 on Tuesday after 15 people, including nine in Kashmir and six in Jammu, were tested positive for the infection.

Official sources said that a patient, a resident of Bandipora, was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Srinagar after he tested positive for the infection. “The patient developed complication and died in the hospital,” they added

They said with this the total number of death due to COVID-19 has risen to three in J&K. “Of the 125 positive cases, 118 are‘Active Positive’, four have recovered and three died,” they added.

A 62-year-old man died on March 29 at Chest Disease hospital less than 12 hours after being tested positive for Coronavirus in the valley.

A 65-year-old Hyderpora resident became the first person todie due to deadly infection in J&K on March 26.
